B and K series kits include all valve springs and all titanium retainers for your engine, H series kits include springs only.

Skunk2 Racing Alpha Series Valve Springs and Retainers have been developed as a result of many years of experience in drag and touring car racing. The Alpha Series springs are made from super clean, Japanese milled chrome silicone wire. The dual interference fit valve spring design prevents harmonics and valve float. All Skunk2 valve springs are race tested and proven and can be used with both forced induction and naturally aspirated engines. Skunk2 Recommends these Alpha Series Springs for use with most mild camshafts, including the Skunk2 Tuner series Camshafts. The Alpha Series Springs are not recommended for use with Pro Series Camshaft upgrades.

Skunk2 Racing Alpha Series titanium retainers are included with these Alpha Series Valve Spring kits. The Alpha Series retainers are CNC-machined from the strongest aerospace quality titanium and are designed to significantly reduce overall valvetrain mass. Reducing weight improves power, helps limit valve "float" and promotes valvetrain stability during high RPM conditions. Approximately 42 percent lighter than Steel OEM retainers, these titanium retainers are the perfect compliment for the Alpha Series Valve Springs. Skunk2 Racing retainers are machined to extremely close tolerances and inspected using strict quality control standards to ensure superior quality and maximum performance gains. All Skunk2 titanium retainers are manufactured using the latest 3D CAD (Computer Aided Design) and FEA (Finite Element Analysis) to ensure that each is optimized for strength as well as for reduced weight.
