A great way to reduce intake air temperatures is by better insulating your intake manifold from the hot engine cylinder heads. Stock thin metal or composite gaskets allow a large amount of heat to transfer from the engine to the intake manifolds of a vehicle. The then hot intake manifolds allow much more heat to transfer to the incoming air, reducing power and response.
