These shocks will keep your ride height the same as stock height while also giving you a better ride and handling than OEM Subaru Legacy suspension shocks. If the suspension for your Subaru Legacy is still not functioning as it should, just replacing the shocks may not be enough; the springs may also need replacement.

Also, some Subaru Legacy applications may find that a camber adjustment useful to prevent the uneven wearing down of tires as the results of lowering the Subaru Legacy more than about 1 inch.

f you have a truck, SUV, or crossover vehicle, you will probably be considering a lift kit. The point of a lift kit is to increase your ride height and suspension performance, and give you additional ground clearance for off-roading or overlanding type activities as well. Lift kits normally come with upgraded shocks / struts, springs and/or lift blocks, but sometimes also feature pre-assembled full coilover type units. Some lift kits even consist of just new springs, which have to be carefully designed to work with your factory shocks / struts and usually are limited in how much they can raise your ride height.
