ACT XACT StreetLite flywheels are ideal for street or drag race Acura ILXs that require a quick throttle response and maximum straight-line acceleration power. Most stock flywheels are heavy cast iron parts designed for optimum street driveability by soaking up some of the power from the engine and putting it in storage in the form of inertia. Although this may be important for transporting the groceries, this driveability comes at the expense of engine response and acceleration.

Note: If you plan on using your Acura ILX for road racing, you may prefer the ProLite flywheel, which is even lighter. For road racing, a lower moment of inertia is more desirable because it allows for quicker throttle response and aids in deceleration, which leads to faster lap times.
