HKS was one of the first companies to realized the breathing requirements of turbocharged vehicles were different than those for naturally aspirated vehicles. HKS started with larger piping diameters than used in NA applications, used a turbo style muffler with straight through design to prevent any flow restrictions, and then finished the systems off with twin tips to minimize exhaust noise and whistle. Note some applications utilize a single tip due to size constraints.
