When building a high performance turbo Kia Stinger, often an external wastegate is needed. HKS has been building turbo systems for over 30 years, so they know what is needed for a turbo system to work properly. HKS wastegates are designed to offer solid boost holding abilities with the exhaust flow needed to keep even the highest flowing turbos from over-boosting. The GTII HKS wastegate starts with HKS's virtually leak proof V-band clamp mounting systems for the wastegate mounting flange and discharge flange on a cast stainless steel lower portion. The upper portion of the valve uses HKS's signature purple anodized billet aluminum, and the valve itself is a 50mm or 60mm stainless steel unit. The HKS GTII is about 30% smaller than the previous generation GT Wastegate, making fitment in even the tightest engine bays simple. Each wastegate includes V-bands, mounting flanges for fabrication, and additional springs to adjust the wastegate release pressure. The pressure ranges listed are for the wastegate settings only, they can hold much more pressure with the addition of a boost controller.
Optional Part: HKS now offers a 4 bolt adapter flange so you can use the GTII wastegate with older S/S Racing bolt on external wastegate flanges.
