If you are converting an internally wastegated turbo to use an external wastegate for better boost pressure control, this bracket is a perfect for keeping the internal wastegate tightly blocked. In the past people have resorted to welding the wastegate shut but this can result in cracks, poor resale value and is extremely hard to reverse if you decide to go back to the stock setup. This GrimmSpeed Wastegate Bracket is a great easy way to hold the wastegate solidly closed without the negative effects of welding. The bracket can be easily installed in about 5 minutes with common hand tools and removed just as easily to revert back to stock.

Since the GrimmSpeed Bracket completely replaces the stock wastegate actuator, an external wastegate MUST BE USED after installing this bracket. We recommend using the GrimmSpeed EWG up pipe and an external wastegate of your choice.
