The Megan Racing short throw shifter is a great modification for your Mini Cooper. Upgrading your stock shifter can improve overall driving experience while being an easy and inexpensive upgrade.

Most applications reduce shift lever throw by 40% and reduce overall shift knob height by 1" for a much more positive shift feel.
