Skunk2 has released yet another crucial engine component for use on high horsepower engine builds. The new Alpha Series Connecting rods are a durable H beam design forged out of the strongest 4130 chromoly steel. The Alpha series rods undergo a comprehensive preparation process which includes: heat treatment, tempering, shot peening and magnafluxing all to ensure that each piece meets Skunk2's rigid design specifications.

The benefits of the Alpha Series Connecting Rods aren't just limited to stringent quality standards, Skunk2 engineers also spent nearly three years developing additional innovative features to set them apart from the competition. Using FEA analysis and the straight H beam design, high stress points were eliminated and additional features were implemented to decrease wear and increase strength. In addition, the Skunk2 Alpha Series Connection Rods use a two piece forging process, offset dual rod end oil passages and ARP 2000 rod bolts to provide the support necessary for super high performance applications up to 900hp!

Key Features:
  • Precision Machined.
  • 3/8-Inch ARP 2000 Bolts included.
  • Shot-Peened For Reduced Fatigue.
  • Bronze Wrist Pin Bushings.
  • Laser-Etched Skunk2 Logo For Authenticity.
  • Fatter, H-Beam Design Without Drastic Weight Increase
  • Pin End Compatible With Most Aftermarket Pistons Without Machining.
  • Dual-Pin Oil Passages For Increased Lubrication And Strength.
  • 900+ HP Capable.
  • Balanced +/- 1 Gram.
  • Magna-flux Inspected.
  • Heat-Treated.
  • FEA Analyzed.
Fitment Notes: Some applications will not work with your stock pistons. For example, if you factory rods are "Pressed Fit" onto your pistons, you must purchase aftermarket pistons with these Skunk2 rods. We always recommend a set of aftermarket pistons to avoid this. Aftermarket pistons will also hold additional power over the stock pistons, allowing you to really take advantage of your new Skunk2 rods.
