A simple way to increase response in an engine is to reduce rotational weight. A stock flywheel tends to be heavy, and this becomes even more noticeable if it's equipped with a dual mass flywheel. This can rob your engine of snappy response and quicker acceleration. Clutch Masters flywheels are made to be very lightweight for quick engine response. This lowers rotational mass and really lets your other upgrades show their potential!

With emphasis on performance, most Clutch Masters flywheels replace stock dual mass flywheels (where applicable) with light, better rotating, single mass versions. This also allows for a more direct feel to the clutch and quicker engagement.

Key Features:
  • Preferred for road racing.
  • Very quick throttle response and acceleration.
  • Lowers the rotational weight of the engine.
  • Made from high grade aluminum (lighter) or steel (heavier).
  • Direct install.
Rigid vs. Sprung Disc Notes: Most flywheels that convert to single mass from dual mass can accept either a rigid or sprung disc. Generally, the rigid discs will give you a more direct feel, with quicker shift times, but can make low speed (i.e. parking lot) driving a bit more difficult for some.
