The HKS Super Panel Air Filter has excellent flow characteristics with great overall filtering capabilities. The filter uses a unique non-woven monolayer polyester material. By using this design in a gradient fashion, larger particles are captured early and smaller ones a bit further in. This prevents the air filter from clogging up quickly, ensuring the flow of air is uninterrupted.
Cleaning Notes: We suggest this air filter should be replaced every 15 to 20 thousand miles, depending on your conditions. Although cleaning the filter is possible, we recommend just replacing the filter when it comes time for a cleaning. Even though this method costs a bit more, it ensures you get the best performance out of the filter.
