Sold in sets of 4 pads (front set or rear set). This is a track oriented pad and is not generally recommended for street use.

Hawk DTC-60 brake pads are designed for aggressive track days where braking is key to victory. These pads are made from a high heat tolerant compound ensuring that you do not get brake fade, even under the most extreme braking conditions. The operating temperature ranges from 400-1600 degrees Celsius, well above what a standard pad or street pad can support. Though these DTC-60 pads can withstand high heat and have extreme friction output, they are not as aggressive on the rotors as other racing pads. High heat tolerance, fairly easy on the rotors, and unmatched stopping power makes this an ideal choice for the track!

Key Features:
  • Track oriented pad with max extreme stopping power - almost the most of any Hawk pad available.
  • Hawk's most popular high-end race brake pad - a bit more usable than the DTC-70 and almost the same max extreme torque profile.
  • Fairly easy on your rotors.
  • Operating temperatures of 400-1600 degrees Celsius.
  • Excellent fade resistance, even under extreme conditions.
All Hawk Performance High Performance Street brake pads provide a limited lifetime warranty, ensuring products to be free of defects from manufacturer's workmanship and materials.

Notes on Applications: If an application references ABS (Anti-lock Braking System), then you need to check if your BMW 7 Series has ABS. The easiest way to tell is by opening your hood and checking for a metallic box with a lot of metal lines coming out of it. This is the ABS unit. Also, for applications that reference rear brake pads, please check to make sure you have rear discs, not drums. To avoid brake imbalance, do not just upgrade the rear pads (purchase the front pads also).

Important Notes: For all new Hawk brake pads, we recommend following Hawk's Bed-In Procedure for maximum performance, which can be found in the brake pad instructions.
